Both the Lakme fashion week and the HDIL saw many wonderful creations by emerging fashion designers along with the head turners by the established designers. From saris to wedding wears to daily wear to extraordinary party wear every kind of Indo western clothes showcased the emerging style mania that has gripped the nation. The shows by Abhi Rahul, Abhishek Dutta, Anita Dongre, Babita Malkani, Debarun Mukherjee, Digvijay Singh and Malini Raman etc were particularly notice for their sheer excellence. They were particularly relevant with respect to their festive collections.

The HDIL Couture Week saw the charity fashion show by the Being Human. The show saw big Bollywood presence which made it all the more interesting. The fashion shows have proved to be a perfect bridge between Indian fashion industry and the NRIs.
